Your Role:
* Administer HSE programs on project sites at the direction of Safety Manager and ensure HSE risks and impacts are managed at an acceptable level.
* Contribute in the preparation of safe work methods and project specific HSE Plans and ensure HSE plan is kept up to date and improved continually.
* Assist in identifying HSE risks and dangers and describe appropriate preventive measures in the method statements.
* Prepare and agree the HSE audit and assessment plan with the Project Manager and HSE Manager. Perform HSE assessments (before start of the works) and performance evaluations for Subcontractors to establish suitability for future projects.
* Ensure all parties including Subcontractors comply with the project HSE plan. Maintain project HSE files and ensure safety toolbox meetings are held regularly by Supervisors and Foremen.
* Issue HSE corrective action reports to the Project Manager and hold inspections to verify satisfactory resolution of follow-up actions.
* Issue site notices and instructions regarding HSE procedures and ensure that they are circulated, understood and enforced.
* Co-ordinate regular meetings with Subcontractors to review progress and propose actions to deal with any non-conformity.
* Perform HSE audits on the awareness and compliance of Supervisors/Foremen, Subcontractors and applicable suppliers.
* Perform monthly equipment inspections and colour coding of all lifting gear and perform HSE test activities.
* Act as a co-ordinator for the investigation of accidents and ensure that all reporting is in accordance with the Project HSE plan. Ensure that unsafe acts or near miss situations are reported and co-ordinate and evaluate HSE reporting (daily, weekly, monthly). Perform analysis of near miss incidents, sickness reports in order to identify trends or patterns .
Our Requirements:
* Engineering/Diploma (Civil/Environmental/Safety)
* Member of a professional HSE organization
* 8 to 10 years of practical experience in the construction industry
* NEBOSH, ISO 14001, OHAS 18001, IOSH, OSHA, Internal Auditing Certificate, Risk Assessment Studies
* In-depth knowledge of risk assessment, environmental impact assessment and HSE legislation
* Good technical knowledge of work methods in the construction industry, materials, equipment and tools used.
* Good knowledge of HSE project plan, systems and first aid
* Knowledge in writing method statements.
* Experienced in internal auditing

Provide support to the Senior Engineer-HSE to ensure smooth implementation of HSE managment system in the organisation.
* Serve as a liaison between HSE (corporate) and site.
* Prepare and ensure the HSE plan, supporting procedures and work instructions are implemented on project sites.
* Update necessary information in project HSE plan when required.
* Maintain HSE records to monitor compliance with HSE requirements.
* Coordinate internal communications and relations with employees regarding HSE issues.
* Ensure monthly HSE statistics are collated and reported in a timely manner.
* Provide assistance in activities namley, job hazard analysis, risk assessment, environmental impact assessment and incident investigation & analysis.
* Identify and coordinate HSE training needs for field as well as staff employees and develop training materails for internal house.
* Track and report projects pecific HSE performance measures/incident statistics as required by the company and other stakeholders.
* Keep track of HSE issues relating to projects undertaken by the organisation and participate in the preparation of reports.
* Assist in developing company Safety Management System based on OHSAS 18001 requirements.
* Diploma (Civil/Mechanical) with at least 5 years of experience in providing HSE support to projects.
* Advanced computer courses on word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
* Courses in health, safety and environment.
Estimation (1)

* Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering and approx. 5-7 years QS experience
* Knowledge of UAE suppliers and subcontractors
* Preparation of all RFQ's as per tender specifications, receiving quotations and offers from suppliers and subcontractors, preparing comparison sheets for optimum prices to help and advise the Estimation Department price and submit tenders
* To evaluate and check all the tender documents provided by the Clients inclusive of tender drawings, plans, specification, Bill of Quantity.
* Check and review BOQ based on the tender drawings
* Segregate and measure all internal and external items according to scope of work and carry out quantity take off
* Carry out the accurate quantity review of the awarded project to clear all the clarification before final agreement.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Quantity surveying experience within Mechanical tendering / estimation department. Working on projects involving district cooling, fuel farm and petrochemical projects.
* In depth knowledge of interpreting FEED / tenders / contract drawings, P&ID's/GA and specifications for systematic time bound take off.
